Open House at GÖRITZ SIX FIX

A relatively new addition to Southern California’s Porsche landscape...

…Cornelius Göritz and his crew have already built a solid reputation through excellent craftsmanship and in-depth knowledge of all things Porsche.

Porsche Engine Specialist

Born and raised in Germany, Cornelius moved to the US upon graduating high school in Germany when his father took a position as a professor at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Having been a Porsche fan throughout his childhood and youth, Cornelius took a deep dive into the Porsche world working with Bruce Canepa in Scotts Valley, CA, Matthias Hoeing in Hamburg, Germany, John Benton in Anaheim, CA and last but not least Porsche Motorsport North America, before opening his own shop in Costa Mesa, CA.

Cornelius' workshop

Of course we were excited to see Cornelius‘ workshop and have him show us his current projects, so we headed to Costa Mesa. When we arrived there, the parking lot, which was filled with a large selection of great Porsches old and new, already showed us that we weren’t the only ones who didn’t want to miss this event.
We weren’t disappointed in the workshop either — classic 911 and 914 racing cars and hot rods, beautiful production cars, Carrera RS from 1973 and 1992, and a number of exciting engines in the build process clearly demonstrated the quality of the work by Göritz SIX FIX.

Göritz SIX FIX

There were also pretzels and other typical German finger food combined with soft drinks and of course lots of nice people, so we can only express gratitude for the hospitality of the GÖRITZ SIX FIX team: Thank you such a fantastic afternoon. We will be back.
